According to the American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), “National Work Zone Awareness Week is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to encourage safe driving through highway work zones. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones.”

ATSSA has made plans for a weeklong commemoration with the theme “WORK ZONES ARE A SIGN TO SLOW DOWN”. And we at Cortina are proud to be part of it, we’re committed to raising awareness of this initiative to make all our roadway work zones safer for everyone – workers, drivers, pedestrians, etc! You too can participate, check out http://NWZAW.org for more information!
